Massage for every need

Wellness Bee Hieronta has room for many kinds of treatment — a short break in the middle of the day, a long unhurried hour, focused work on one small area, or whole-body relaxation. The feel of the treatment depends on what you choose: in some you lie on the table with oil on the skin, in others you keep your clothes on and the body stays in motion.

Below is a short description of what our treatments are like and how they differ from one another. Fuller descriptions, all the lengths and the prices are on each treatment's own page.

Classic massage is the basic form of massage and the one most people know best. We work with calm, deep strokes exactly where things feel tight — often the neck, shoulders and back. There are six lengths, so the treatment works just as well as a half-hour break as it does as a two-hour session.

Aroma massage has a softer, more even touch. Here we don't dig into single spots, but move along the whole body in one continuous flow, with natural essential oils. You choose the scent yourself at the start of the treatment, based on how you feel at that moment. A good choice when you feel restless and your thoughts won't settle.

In hot stone massage, warm basalt stones move over the body at a calm pace, and the heat travels slowly through the skin. We combine the stones with work done by hand. The feeling is softer and slower than hand massage alone — especially welcome in the cold season.

In Thai massage you don't undress and no oils are used. We work through your clothes, combining calm stretches and pressure along the body's lines. The treatment is more active than classic massage: we lift and turn your limbs and guide you through stretches, but you don't have to do anything yourself. A good choice when the body feels stiff and wants to move.

Head massage is a shorter treatment from the same tradition, focusing on the scalp, temples, neck and shoulders. Because no oils are used, your hair stays tidy and there's no need to wash afterwards — many come on their lunch break and head back to work.

Jaw and temple treatment concentrates on the jaw, temples, cheeks and neck. The area is small and the muscles thin, so we work gently and slowly — this isn't a strong treatment, it's a precise one. If needed and with your permission, we also work inside the mouth with clean gloves. Many come when the jaw feels tight or the morning starts with a heavy feeling around the jaw.

Royal Bee Premium is our studio's own treatment package. In an ordinary treatment we work one way from beginning to end — in the Premium treatment we combine several massage styles within the same session, depending on how the body feels at that moment. Three lengths, three different scopes: one area, the whole body, or our longest and calmest treatment, with time to go through the whole body without hurrying.

Asian Head Spa is our only treatment where the hair is washed. It includes a hair wash and scalp massage, a hair mask and steam, massage of the face, neck and shoulders, hand massage, and blow-drying. It's more of an experience than a massage — a good choice when you want to give yourself a whole hour without having to think about anything.
